The Ministry of Sports signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Sports Boulevard Foundation. This agreement aims to strengthen cooperation between the two entities to boost sports activities and increase the number of people participating in sports, thereby enhancing the community’s quality of life. The signing ceremony took place at the Mahd Academy headquarters in Riyadh, with Deputy Minister of Sports, His Excellency Mr. Badr Al-Qadi, and CEO of the Sports Boulevard Foundation, Jayne McGivern, in attendance.

The MoU focuses on fostering collaboration to host various sports events, align strategic plans, and information exchange. It also includes provisions for issuing necessary licenses and jointly working to discover and develop athletic talents. Furthermore, the agreement supports intersecting initiatives and relevant indicators that contribute to comprehensive development goals.

Through this MoU, the Ministry of Sports aims to provide technical support according to the standards for the development and operation of sports facilities owned by the Sports Boulevard Foundation. This includes organizing sports events and programs at venues made available by the foundation, with the goal of promoting community sports and encouraging participation through suitable programs and coordination with different entities.

This MoU is part of a series of agreements the Sports Boulevard Foundation has signed with various governmental and private organizations. These agreements aim to foster fruitful cooperation that benefits the national economy and increases the rate of sports participation across various types of sports, catering to all segments of society.
